When planning for SharePoint, a few key pricing items to take into consideration are:
1)      Inflation – consumer price index (CPI) – will rise every year so it would be mindful to account for this.

2)      Maintenance costs – if you have staff full time or outsourced, the cost of maintain the system should be taken into consideration.

3)      General development – if you have customized development/coding aspects in the environment, such costs need accounted for be it via full time or outsourced resources.
