An entry in either a securable item’s discretionary access control list (DACL) or an item’s system access control list (SACL). In a DACL, the entry grants or denies permissions to a user or group. In a SACL, the entry identifies which security events to audit for a certain user or group or controls the Windows Integrity Level for the item.

A string that displays the location of a file and starts with a drive identifier and root directory or network share and ends with the applicable file name. Example: C:\Documents\Work\testexample.txt and \\netshare\Documents\Work\testexample.txt.

The SharePoint – Path to Evangelism

When evangelizing SharePoint, the following aspects make up a good foundational outline to follow:

1)      Why use SharePoint?

-          What can it do?

-          What is the roadmap planned?

-          What are some organizational statistics that can be shared on usage?

2)      What does SharePoint change?

-          When using SharePoint how does it change how I work?

-          What are the technologies involved with SharePoint (example PowerApps, PowerBI, Power Automate, etc.)?

3)      What are the best practices for using SharePoint?

-          How to plan for migrating to SharePoint?

-          What are the key features?

-          What are the basic fundamentals that are needed?

4)      What will the future bring for SharePoint?

-          How communities will be developed?

-          How will new features be released?

SharePoint Confidence

The following are some key and core items for SharePoint confidence:

1)      Have conviction – as a SharePoint evangelist, have to have a solid confidence in yourself and your role within the SharePoint ecosystem.

2)      Think possibilities – have to share knowledge and thoughts – believe your subconscious, evangelize with vigor and zest.

3)      Have faith – realize with SharePoint there are setbacks and defeats and for your fortunes of SharePoint – you can’t let this default you. Strive for accomplishments, achievement and personal fulfillment.

4)      Have strength – When working with SharePoint – one can’t learn and do everything – therefore, it’s important to guide based on the requirements at hand.

5)      Use harmony – be aware of the qualities within the environment that will lead to your strength and power. A SharePoint victory is when that difficult situation has been resolved.
