Query which contains parameters such as those applied to
Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) and web-based queries. An example of such an
item would be parameters added to a query for a product lookup.

Metadata item that represents formal parameters for business
logic in a line-of-business (LOB) system. Parameters have a single root item that
defines the structure of the parameter.

View which supports one or more visual pages. Such a view is
utilized to break up larger sets of data into smaller sets in order to increase
performance and manageability.
